Registrations are now open for the summer edition of my book club for ages seven and eight!
For those who haven’t been part of it before, a little about it: I set up the book club in December 2020, so we’ve been going strong for over four years! Each edition consists of twelve 45-minute online interactions. I curate the four books we read during each edition, paying attention not just to content but also to what we can do with each book. The idea of reading together is to enjoy the process of reading and to build links with other activities, including listening, performing, writing and critical thinking.
In April-May 2025, we will read a book of mine, The Clockwala’s Clues, The Adventures of Mooli and the Blue-Legged Alien (Asha Nehemiah), The Chocolate Touch (Patrick Skene Catling), and The Astoundingly True Adventures of Daydreamer Dev (Ken Spillman). As we draw closer to the programme, I will share outlines of what we will do as we read each book.

Online interactions: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 to 5:15 pm
Age-group: 7 and 8 years
Fee: ₹4,500
Early Bird Fee: ₹4,200 (valid until 15 March; books will be delivered anywhere in India)
Buddy Fee: ₹4,000 (per head for two or more participants, applicable across programmes)
