Book Club (Ages 7 and 8) – February-March 2025
Registrations are now open for the February 2025 edition of my book club for ages seven and eight!
For those who haven’t been part of it before, a little about it: I set up the book club in December 2020, so we’ve been going strong for over four years! Each edition is six weeks long, and I curate the four books we read during these six weeks, paying attention not just to content but also to what we can do with each book. The idea of reading together is to enjoy the process of reading and to build links with other activities, including listening, performing, writing and critical thinking.
In February-March 2025, we will read Petu Pumpkin: Tooth Troubles (Arundhati Venkatesh), Mini’s Questions (Nandini Nayar), Zeus and the Thunderbolt of Doom (Joan Holub), and Boo-Boo the Eco-Warrior (Tanushree Podder). Click on the titles for outlines of what we will do as we read each book.

Online interactions: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 to 5:15 pm
Age-group: 7 and 8 years
Fee: ₹4,500
Early Bird Fee: ₹4,200 (valid until 15 January; books will be delivered anywhere in India)
Buddy Fee: ₹4,000 (per head for two or more participants)
