Book Club (Ages 7 and 8) – June 2023

For those who haven’t been part of my book club before, a little about it: each edition is six weeks long, and I curate the four books we read during these six weeks, paying attention not just to content but also to what we can do with each book. The idea of reading together is to enjoy the process of reading and to build links with other activities, including listening, performing, writing and critical thinking.

Over the course of six weeks, we will be reading Chitti’s Travelling Book Box (Kavitha Punniyamurthi), Manya Learns to Roar (Shruthi Rao), Fortunately, the Milk … (Neil Gaiman), and Read, Write Race (Arti Sonthalia). Click on the titles to find out what we will do as we read each book.

Dates: 14 June to 24 July 2023

Online interactions: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:15 pm

Age-group: 7 and 8 years 

Early Bird Fee: ₹4,000

Fee: ₹4,500 (includes the books if you register from India before 7 June)
