Most of us have picture books we treasure. These are books we treasure for they bring us comfort and joy even though we are far too old to read them now. We know each well-turned page and recognise every detail of every picture.
How do we create the emotional value of a picture? How do colour, composition and technique come together to communicate emotion?
Through this one-hour online workshop with Ashok Rajagopalan, let’s find out!
About the Facilitator
An illustrator since 1989 and a writer since 2006, Ashok Rajagopalan loves to tell stories and draw pictures that make people, especially little people, laugh. As his childhood hobbies have become his full-time occupation, he spends his free time reading, talking, laughing, and walking in the rain. He lives in a quiet part of Chennai with his noisy family and books.

This workshop is a guest session at my online creative writing programme. It is free for those who are currently part of my writing programmes, but open to non-participants on payment of a fee.
