Online Reading Programme (Ages 9 and 10) – April 2022

My reading programme for ages nine and ten is back! Unlike the book clubs I conduct for seven- and eight-year-olds, creative writing is an important component of the programme for this age-group. Every two weeks, one class is devoted to writing and activities based on developing the art of writing. (I also run an intensive creative writing programme twice a year for this age-group. As usual, we will be reading excerpts from three books in class. This time, the books are A Big Splash, Dear Mr. Henshaw and Nimmi’s Dreadtastic Detective Days. Click on the titles to read outlines of what we will do as we read each one. 

Dates: 1st April to 10th May 2022

Online interactions: Tuesdays and Fridays, 4:15 to 5 pm

Age-group: 9 and 10 years 

Early Bird Fee: ₹4,500 (valid until 15 March)

Fee: ₹5,000 (includes the books if you register from India before 24 March)

As this is a yearlong programme, you can also register for more than one edition at a time. Contact me to find out the details of the fee.
