Read, Write, Explore (Ages 9 and 10) – December 2022

Registrations are now open for Read, Write, Explore, an ongoing programme for ages nine and ten. During the 12 online interactions, we read excerpts from three books in class. Unlike at my book club for ages seven and eight, we devote less class time to reading aloud and more to activities and writing. Additionally, one class every two weeks focuses on creative writing. Do note that this means that even though we read excerpts in class, most of the reading happens independently! 

During the December 2022-January 2023 edition, we will be reading Misfit Madhu (Divya Anand), Crenshaw (Katherine Applegate) and an anthology by various writers, Flipped – Mystery Stories and Sci-Fi Stories. Click on the titles to read outlines of what we will do as we read each book. 

Dates: 5 December 2022 to 1 February 2023 (There will be a Christmas break from 15-Dec to 5-Jan)

Online interactions: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:15 pm

Age-group: 9 and 10 years 

Early Bird Fee: ₹4,500

Fee: ₹5,000 (includes the books if you register from India before 28 November)
