These were the two most common questions I was asked during my previous workshop on teaching creative writing, and that’s why my next workshop focuses on teaching story writing.

If you want to teach creative writing and you are not sure how to go about it, this workshop will give you a toolkit with printable exercises and activity ideas.
My workshops are NOT for:
- those looking to improve their language skills
- those who want help writing a book/poem/story
- those who want to find out about the publishing process
- those who want feedback on their own writing
Do note that at the moment, I’m not conducting workshops that will help you work on the craft of writing. While you will learn about story writing during the next workshop, the focus will be on how you could go about teaching writing.
I will lead you through a step-by-step session on writing a complete story. This will give you an idea of how you could do something similar with children. At each stage, I will focus on how you can give feedback on technique and style.
Do note that each workshop introduces new activities and exercises. This means that even if you’ve joined one workshop, you won’t find the next one repetitive!
While this is not a creative writing workshop, I will be giving you feedback on your writing with the objective of helping you understand how you could give feedback to your students. As such, the feedback I give you will be restricted to the writing exercises we do during the session.
