The last guest workshop of the season is a creative writing session, which will be conducted by the award-winning Venita Coelho.
Venita Coelho is a screenwriter and author of twelve published books, a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award. Her books range from middle grade thrillers to feminist ghost stories, to a handbook on writing for television. She also has fun painting.
I’ve read and loved several of her books, including All of Me and Dungeon Tales (both volumes of which we’ve read at my book clubs).
During this workshop, we’ll explore how we can channel anger into stories. Anger does more than make you see red. It makes you see what really matters to you. Inspiration evaporates. Anger hangs about.
