Fact is Wilder than Fiction

Is nonfiction boring? It certainly doesn’t have to be! Let’s find out more at a writing workshop on wildlife nonfiction, which will be conducted by author Arefa Tehsin!

Arefa Tehsin grew up treading jungles with her naturalist father. She was often found trying to catch a snake or spin a yarn. She is an author of 20+ books and a widely published columnist. Her debut adult novel was shortlisted for The Asian Prize for Fiction. Her picture book The Elephant Bird has been translated in 35+ languages. Raised by a naturalist father, her writing reflects a lifelong engagement with the natural world. She has served as the Honorary Wildlife Warden of Udaipur district. At my book club, we read and loved The Great Indian Safari.

Arefa strongly recommends that you read at least one of her wildlife books before you join the session!
