Description
A poetry workshop by Yashasvi Vachhani
Can poetry be play? Is writing really like having fun in a playground? At this playground, we will explore what happens when we swing on the back of verbs, jump over nouns and hula-hoop with rhymes!
We will be very serious about having a lot of fun while writing poems!
Yashasvi Vachhani is a poet and educator. She facilitates creative writing and reading programmes for children across ages and the classroom is her favourite space. She also curates children’s literature festivals. Her poem “Sisterhood” won the Prose Poetry contest 2026. Her work can be found in SWWIM Miami, Of Brave Hearts and Dry Tongues, Gargoyle Magazine and Suspect. She is the founding editor of Tiffinbox Review. She can usually be found at the library down the street or with a cup of tea at her favourite café.
